Is it true that fast food can be healthy? Of course it can if you choose to eat it wisely. First of all I would like to ask you what type of fast foods do you like. I hope you will not answer ?fried fast food or fatty fast food?. Why did I say like that? I said like that because those types of fast food can cause obesity and can have many effects on your health because if you are overweight, you are at greater risk for high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, diabetes and several forms of cancer. I don't want you to have those diseases like my grandmother who has them as a result of eating those food.Those diseases except cancer cause her to go to hospital often, and she spends much of her income on hospital bill. So, you should avoid having fried food such as French fries, fried chicken and fast food which is hight in fat content such as cheese, sour cream and regular salad. How do I eat fast food wisely, you might be asking me? I have some simple tips for you. You don?t need to count calories because counting calories every time you have meal wastes your time. If you follow my recommendations, there is no need to count how many calories are in your meals. Think about: Size and Price When you go to eat out alone, don't order a big portion even though it is promoted. The larger portions you have, the more fat and more calories you get. However, it depends on the kinds of fast food of each portion. If you think that portion is value for money, then buy it but don't eat it all at once. You should eat half of the dish; then, eat the other half later in the day. It would be better if you shared with your friend. You will not get unnecessary calories as well as save your money. Ingredient and Cooking Usually the names and pictures of fast food can indicate approximate ingredients of fast food and its methods of cooking, but if you are not sure, you should ask a staff or a cook. For example, you can know the method of cooking and the main ingredient of fried-chicken. Fried food is not good for your health. You should select to have grilled, boiled, and baked foods. However, don't eat burned food. When I order grilled chicken, I don't eat its skin if it's burned. And, I rarely eat it because it's always burned, so I can avoid eating fat at the same time. Try to add fresh vegetable and fruit salad with fat-free salad dressing as often as you can when you order meat fast food. Don't have cheese, hotdog, ham and bacon too often. I think that they are not good for your health because of their chemicals. |
