Hovercrafters in Kentucky!!

Meet Tom Bjelland and the Tail Wind...and what hovering is all about (KIDS)!

Alescia & Tony sitting in Tail Wind on the Kentucky bank of the Ohio River, across from downtown Cincinnati.

Roebling Suspension bridge, and new stadium construction in the background.

  2) Yep, that's me with Tony before returning home. The blue patches on Tail Wind are to repair damage caused when the previous owner had a minor altercation with a tree. Also, the name and numbers are temporary. I hope to repaint the entire craft this year. Note the slight blur on the right side of the photo where Alescia's hair blew in front of the camara.

Tony, after being "lightly breaded" by dust stirred up when we were playing along the Ohio. He looked like he has absolutely covered with freckles.
Alescia will come to dread this photo. It should come in real handy when she starts dating. Something to share with all young men who come calling!
The Licking River, not far from where we came upon two deer swimming from one bank to the other.
Fredrick's Landing boat ramp. Note: the river was still running 3-5 feet higher than normal. Plenty of room for a hover parking area, tho!

Write Tom if you are interested in getting together with him for a small hoverin!!
