We pretty much didn't need a driver's
meeting......but seeing how Linda loves to
talk.....couldn't pass up the opportunity! |
One of many 'pit stops' to discuss problems and
directions and get a bite to eat! |
Truly is a pit stop here.....as bathroom facilities
are at the top of the hill! |
This is usually a canoe landing, and as many times as
one has crossed the bridge over this area. no one ever
saw so many hovers having landed! |
Linda pulls up the rear..... |
I used to have a Hoverclub of America logo on my
dash, but gave it away to some young child......must get
another one ordered! |
I spotted a different hover than our group running
along the river and asked him to join us..... |
Another family friend..... |
We stop at a lot of bars along the
way.......??!!!!!**!!!!!! |
Don Searls shows 1 of 4 waterproof packets which
provide storage along side his cruiser..... |
The bags are stuck with velcro on the interior
walls.....note the seats and fire extinguisher....really
a nice looking craft, Don! |
Well, Linda has to show off her home-made shelf to
keep her bags from getting wet!!!! |
Notice the trailering and cruising checklist
laminates made up by Mike McCullough (this one is in
pink, of course)..... |
Like I said, we stopped at a lot of bars.....this
river has many, many more! |
More arrivals, Carl Gorsuch, David LaCombe and Linda
Weber. |
We thought we were taking a short cut....what can I
say? At least we arrived before everyone took off
again!!!!!! |
Doug Ihrig, Dennis Alm, Don and Jean Searls chatting! |
Where's Dave LaCombe.....oh, yah, snuggled into those
StarCruisers..... |
Several years ago, we began our cruises at this boat
landing.....this year we arrive at the boat landing to
search for the drowning victims. |
The mood is very somber as everyone arrives.... |
Thanks for all the help, you guys! Every one
appreciates your efforts..... |
Now there was a story going around about green shoes,
and who actually was wearing them...........but you had
to be there to understand it!
Thank you, Mike McCullough for all your pictures and
cam footage!
