  1967 plexi 50w TREMOLO
   with original mock 8x10

I am sure this picture reminds you something.Yes, I copy the Aspen Pittman picture. But in a precise goal:I think my cab is slimmer and older.I have no doubt about the dating :  This amp has been bought new in 1967 and sold to me by the same person. (see confirmation on celestion speakers below). And it was marketed as a complete package with its false 8x10 which is really a tall and slim 4x12.It is a great amp : I think tremolo amps have a little more gain and are usually better sounding than same vintage regular amps. (not so stupid if you compare '65 Deluxe amp to '65 Deluxe Reverb amp)And the cab is a real monster of tone.No one will ever build this kind of cab again without losing money. Even the back panel is perfectly crafted with noble materials. In the '70 they swap to particle board.
Do this change the sound? I have my theory for cabs: if you change only 1 thing, tone changes lightly but if you change more than 2 things you loose your tone.

Hard to read but it is 20JM.
If you have any doubt about the M , figures before letters means 1967 or before. 20 september 1967. I was about to begin my CE2 grade and played marbles.
And I have not yet been hit by my first rock single.
It was in 1968.
'Paint it black'. The Rolling stones.
English too, isn't it.

That is some stuff.
This amp is extra clean if you except non-original choke. It can be important for sound as, in ancient time of good audio stuff , choke were matched with transformers. But I think guitars amps were not so far-fetched.
The cabinet: inside story
How do you feel when you open for the first time a vintage sealed cab you just bought?
I just feel like digging the treasure island , hoping to find jewels like greenbacks, jensen , or JBL and sometimes something else maybe. In Marshall cabs you can find signatures too. In fender amps date stamps. But I have never found personal belongings. Too bad. Could make a short story.
