I was lost and so alone,
I couldn't find myself within,
You showed me caring and kindness,
I don't know how it happened,
But my heart began to melt,
You touched my soul with your warmth,
And taught me how to love again.
Through the years beside you I will stand,
How could I ever repay the gift you gave me?
You gave me your heart to have and hold,
You gave me your trust on which I depend,
One thing for sure I know,
Our love is one that will never end.
