Dark fic. Whiskey drinking' miserable darkfic. I'm thinking season 4 Wesley with the designer stubble (or possibly season 6/7 Giles). I'm thinking misery loves company. Who the company is, you decide. Smut's a possibility, but not a necessity. Perhaps a moment of revelation, or perhaps just realizing that in the grand scheme of things nothing matters. Really darkfic, in an introspective sort of way.
