I know we have been through some tough times lately, but I love you so much and I worry. It is my job to worry. Sorting through all the pictures and choosing just the right ones took me back to a time when it seemed so much easier. How I fretted over you falling and bumping your head when you were learning how to walk. How my heart skipped a beat on your first day of school. How I cried as I watched your body mature from a child's into that of a woman. It is a very difficult thing to accept...that you are growing up. But you are so beautiful and so bright and you are the light of my life. A light that will never dim or falter. Happy birthday, Puddin'. I love you!
