	UPDATED 07/18/04 Can’t believe it’s already half way through July. I remember went summer was a faint glimmer of hope on the cold horizon and here we are in the thick of it. Lots of news to report this month… ENGINE DOWN have posted a song from their upcoming self-titled debut for Lookout! Records. Q AND NOT U head into the studio this week to record their follow up to Different Damage (dischord) and then head off to foreign lands-starting in the UK and ending with dates in South Africa.   JIMMY EAT WORLD are also in the studio. Having just completed tracking with producer Gil Norton, the guys will be mixing throughout June in hopes of a fall release for the much anticipated follow up to the platinum selling Bleed American (dreamworks).   MINUS THE BEAR begin their dates on the Braid reunion tour this weekend with Murder By Death. Here them previewing many new songs from their upcoming EP on Arena Rock.   UNDEROATH ADDED TO WARPED TOUR LINEUP June 25 - August 19th! To celebrate they have launched their new website and have posted yet another new song from their new album They're Only Chasing Safety due out June 15th on Solid State Records. TED LEO / PHARMACISTS head into the studio in NYC this month with producer Chris Shaw (wilco, public enemy, bel biv devoe) to record the follow up to 2003's briliant Hearts of Oak. The finished product is slated for an October release. RADIO 4 have finally completed Stealing of a Nation with producer Max Heyes for a Sept 7th release on Astralwerks. THE JOGGERS head out for a run of dates with The FRENCH KICKS, ENGINE DOWN continue to preview songs from their upcoming album, touring this month with SPARTA. THE ROCKET SUMMER hit the road with SOMETHING CORPORATE and RECOVER thorughout May, and plan to begin a headlining summer tour in mid June.  TORTOISE have just released their brand new album (and first in three years) called It's All Around You and in celebration have also launched a beautiful new website www.trts.com. Check out Tortoise on the road as their USA tour starts this week.   THESE ARMS ARE SNAKES are holed up in Seattle with producer Matt Bayles putting the finishing touches on their first full length album to be release on Jade Tree this fall. In the meantime, check out their upcoming split EP with Harkonen out in May on Hydrahead.
