Les Claypool...needs no introduction

Going to see Primus had always been a dream to fulfill. Searching for our next show, Les Claypool's Frog Brigade was next on the never-ending list of shows to attend. Although not Primus, it was definietly the next best thing yet not even second best of all, just different. The sold out venue was almost unbearably crowded, but the opening band, Dead Weight was most certainly quite a treat. Their talent surpasses those of most opening bands and the crowd was so excited as though Dead Weight were headlining. Lost in the electric violin and electric cello and drums I didn't want it all to end but I then realized who we came to see. Out came Les Claypool and the rest of the artists in quite humorous costumes. Opening up with a cover of Pink Floyd's 'Shine On You Crazy Diamond' we were all blown away with instrumental power. As the show proceeded, we received solo treats such as the wonderful drum solo and other acts. A fantastic show it was while Les danced and hopped around the stage. We couldn't imagine the end, but surely enough it did. The dream has been partially fulfilled for now and we can't wait for the next episode. Until then, thank you Les for your awesome performance.
