Review: MUDBATH
By Laura DeFelice

Yeah, Girls Kick Ass! After attending and witnessing countless shows, it has become apparent that it only gets harder and harder to describe the feeling that fills the soul after the moment. It would be easier if perhaps this was a band I preferred not to see but no, not the case. Mudbath, based in Orange County and going so strong making their way through every club and lounge and receiving quite a sincere following. Now opening up for Save Ferris and heading up the national acts, Mudbath may not be so local for too much longer. With full confidence, Aspin Davis management handles these girls with pure admiration and pushes them in the right direction to get where they want to go...the top! Crowds of all ages and figures cheer for the Mudbath girls singer Sara Barry, bassist Kym Cienfuegos, guitarist Jamie Ross and drummer Yvette Casali while jumping for more and singing along with the luscious voice of Sara and their modern rock rythym. And to be totally honest, Mudbath only slightly mimicks similar sounds of rock ‘n roll females but stand a very strong ground of their own. The harder sounds of guitar and drums, the sexy, slithering vocals, the consistent darker tempo of the drums and so much more. Sometimes others limit themselves by immediately comparing a band to another mainstream band because maybe that’s all they know. Those that can’t acually feel the music in their soul. Well, Mudbath gets in your soul and in your head. The energy and drive are going to move them futher up the ladder and then...let’s say the anticipation kills. for more information on show dates etc...www.mudbathband.com
