One of the best kept
secrets in Wales is Anglesey, the island off the north west coast. It is the
gateway to Ireland via the port of Holyhead, but most travellers to the
island go along the main route which takes them through the rather bleak
centre of the island. As a result the coast line is almost unknown, despite
being some of the most rugged and beautiful in the whole of Wales.

For a plane buff the island is a
delight - whilst at South Stacks planes and helicopters regularly fly over
to and from the nearby Royal Air Force base at
RAF Valley.
