Llandudno, Gwynedd, Wales

   

Wales is a place that I love. I have a Welsh grandmother so I suppose it is in my blood. I have been all over the country and have enjoyed every part. However, one place stands out above all others and that is Llandudno on the north coast. It is a Victorian town filling the headland below the Great Orme, from the top of which, on a clear day, it is possible to see the Lake District and the Isle of Man. I have travelled to the top of the Orme by car, coach, the tram, chair lift and have also walked both up and down it many times.

Llandudno is surrounded by some glorious places, and Snowdonia is not far away. One of the most spectacular places is Bodnant Gardens along the Conwy Valley. This National Trust garden is famous for several things, but one of the most breath taking is the Laburnam Walk shown below.
