Virtually all natural pearl beds are dead today due to overfishing, oils spills and pollution. During WW II uncontrolled oil spills and bombings in the Persian Gulf (world's finest ancient pearl beds) and the South Pacific (largest) killed all the major beds ~ sacrificed to the war "they" say. Most all fresh water mussels are all dead due to pollution. Will Floridians allow oil development ~ our sensitive little tranny moon worshipers will be first to go!
