Serpent Mother in Fine Silver

Mosasaurs were 50 ft. long Sea Serpents that could swim 55 mph. They would hydrafoil on their (nearly evolved away) front feet up to 55 mph using a powerful 50 foot tail. To stop at such speeds and not break their necks on impacting a prey they evolved a flairing skirt/sail around their neck. This is still seen in today's Cobra and Kamodo dragon (the Mosasaurs only 2 decendents). The ancient ocean between Kansas and Ohio was most full of them and has been/is highly escavated. Much information and pictures are available on the Internet. These Mosasaur teeth are all North American, however, they are quite common in England and areas where large snake stories were common!!!

The pictured tooth has a purple Sapphire on the top and is mounted in Fine Silver with a Sterling jumpring.
