My first job was at Philips, I was not yet on the programming, I was doing hardware repairs, It was a great time and I did love the Job, We had a bif computer that was analising motherboard signal's a Ollivetti MIT 4, I had to learn MS-DOS from upside down and it was the first contact with DBase. Well I did move on and went to work for a computer shop that was installing and selling computer networks, my first contact with Netware and OS/2. The next step was the first that was only to do with programming I join a company that was developing a telephone taxing software, it was great first contact with Unix system's and RDBMS, the whole program was done in Informix 4GL, but after the program I moved for the actual employ I have, and it was the first time I started out with Dbase IV and the moved on to do work on VB and Access, at the moment my work is centered on VB and Access, we do have a lot of Backend file format's ranging from Access, Informix and Oracle. I think this resume my work for the last 14 year's.
I'm 29 year old and live in the beatifull city of Lisboa, married with a great person, and for descendency I just have a boxer, Nina. But I think that very soon we are puting someone else. When I'm not programming, very rare stuff, I do enjoy comic books, mainlly from Europe but I do known also some great American author's, my favorite artist is Moebius, I don't miss one of his books. Just lovce to travel and find new places, I known almost all the Ocidental Europe, both in work and pleasure, and the last two year I went travel to Cuba and Brazil.
When I do not have a paid job for doing at evening, I do spend my time on the newsgroups, trying to help out people, I do spend that time mainly on two comp.databases.ms-access, the best newsgroup that I can remeber, I've made a lot of good friend's there, and the portuguese newsgroup pt.comp.programacao.
