| The Access 2000 version will sometimes not be the most recent version, that is due to the fact that both I and Stephen are still mainly doing Access 97 stuff. | ||||||||||||||||
| Calendar Access 2000 Ver7.3 | ||||||||||||||||
| Credits: Pedro Gil for doing the background research necessary to code a working model. Stephen Lebans for the Class wrapper and the autosizing, user selectable display. Michael Kaplan for the idea to create the Month Calendar directly from the Common Control DLL. You must check Stephen Lebans site for this and other goodies http://www.lebans.com/monthcalendar.htm Version History: Version 7.3 (update 30/3/2001) Stephen made lot's of changes to this, it's now Modal. We are working on the Holidays stuff, just need a few more time to clean that up so we can place it here. Version 5 (update 5/3/2001) Well Stephen Lebans did it again :-) he's been making all the changes on this, I've only been posting here new version. This new version implements the DayState property, so you can now bold any day of the calendar. One possible use for this is to mark out the holidays. Wait a few moments and we will bring this up to you. Also possible to control the placment of the calendar window, very handy. Version 4.2 (update 19/02/2001) Bug Fix both A97 and A2K, in some particular situation there could be a GPF. Version 4.0 (update 22-12-2000) Version 3.6 (update 15-12-2000) Property to select a date by double or single click Version 3.3 (Update 13-12-2000) The greates improvment was that this version is completlly form free, but other goodies have been added, keyboard accelarator keys, return a range of dates, and even more... Version 2.0 (Update 04-12-2000) Big preparation to the form less code... Version 1.1 (Update 15-11-2000) Well this is a great update, I think that the end result is very good, Stephen Lebans, a great friend, and a great programmer picked the code I had and made some very nice changes to it. Version 1.0 (07/09/2000) This Project comes from a discussion on comp.databases.ms-access newsgroup, we were talking about internationalization of a calendar form, I suggested a DateTimePicker ActiveX Control, but was warned that there could be some liscencing and distribution problems using it on Access. Michael Kaplan suggested that we could use the function CreateWindowEx to draw the Control directly and that way would not have any liscencing issues. Well I've was busy with other stuff and didn't had time to test this, but the problem has been in the back of my mind. This sample database is my first attempt at producing a solution. |
