I had a old function build on the begining of 1999, that would convert number's to portuguese text, this function was build base on a MS KB article, but it had some bug, and the logic behind the function was not really any good. In a thread on the portuguese newsgroup pt.comp.programacao, I was warned for some of it's bug's mostly concerning the conjuntions between words, so I decide to wrote the function again. In the mean time I have helped Michel Walsh to implement the portuguese language on is class, If you will ever need more than one language to convert number's I sugest that you use is class instead. The class is avaible at the The Access Web. Because Dev Ashish still didn't updated is site to contain the version of the class that implements the portuguese language, I'm providing a place where you can download it here, but as soon as Dev would make it avaible at his site, I will remove it from here. polygloth_pt.zip (65.604 bytes) If you wish to implement a English only version I sugest the function provided by Joe Foster, both at The Access Web and his own site. If you didn't have understood by all this, I have based the logic of my function around both of this two functions.
