Arthritis:
An inflammation of the joints that is often caused by the aging process or exposure
to dampness. Older animals are more susceptible than younger ones. X-rays reveal
the disease in its various states. Some drugs, such as aspirin, which are beneficial
to humans, are harmful to cats. Anti-pain remedies should be prescribed by a vet.
