Caries:
The
result of deterioration of the enamel of the teeth with the formation
of cavities. The problem in cats usually is noticed when the animal
suffers while chewing. Sometimes bad breath is also a symptom. The
vet can decide whether or not the ailing tooth should be extracted;
the operation should take place with anesthesia.
