Feline Infectious Peritonitis

Feline Infectious Peritonitis: A coronavirus infection of the membrane lining the abdominal cavity. This disease is always fatal.

This viral disease causes the following clinical signs: fever, lethargy, conjunctivitis, loss of appetite, diarrhea, ascites (fluid in the abdomen), pleural effusion (fluid in the chest). The virus may also cause neurological signs.
