Nephritis
Nephritis:
Inflammation
of the kidneys resulting from a severe illness that overtaxes the
kidneys. In the acute form of nephritis, the animal suffers from
depression, colic, painful and increased urination, thirst, vomiting
or loss of appetite. Urinalysis is the key to accurate diagnosis.
If neglected, this disease can be fatal.
