Rebecca: What is the Symbol of Taiwan?

Chinese characters are unique symbols. They were created in the Shun dynasty and have lasted for thousands of years. Why do I think they are the symbol of Taiwan? Because now there are two kinds of Chinese characters used. The original writing is more complicated than the other one which was created recently by Chinese people who live on the mainland of China. The new simplified writing is used in China and was created to save time in writing. Chinese characters are symbolic words. In order to develop the economy, most of the Chinese only know the simplified Chinese characters instead of the original Chinese characters. According to it, they don't know the source of the Chinese characters. But in Taiwan, we still use the complicated characters as our ancestors did. In brief, whenever you see the complicated Chinese characters, they are the symbols of Taiwan!
