Emptiness

Now face to face,
We just look at each other,
Like we have never,
Know one another,
Now face to face,
We just look in empty space,
Trying to find the words,
To tell each other,
Trying to find the right words,
Without hurting each other,
Now face to face,
Our hearts seem to have,
Let go of those happy days.

We used to kiss,
When we were together,
But the tenderness,
Of those many kisses,
Have faded away,
On our lips,
That closeness,
When you held me,
When I touched you,
They seem to have disappeared,
Like the passing wind,
In those quiet nights,
When I was without you.

The warm of your hands,
No longer remain,
When you touch me,
I just can’t feel the love,
I don’t feel the love,
That was once there,
When you really loved me,
With all your heart.
The love in your heart,
It’s no longer there,
Like it used to,
When you told me,
You loved me.

Now we sit here,
Face to face,
We wait for the hours,
To pass by,
Because we no longer,
Feel the same,
Like those time,
When love was still there,
For us.
