Hold On to Tonight
Last night I dreamed that you came back to me, I saw you opening the door and walked inside, You knelled down and told me you loved me, I was so happy I held you in my arms, Suddenly the lights came on and I realized that it was all painful dream, I looked at the light shining through the windows, I felt so lonely and sad, The morning only has reminded me that you are gone, The morning only has brought an end to my beautiful dream of you, I wish the night would last forever so I could dream of you forever. I wish for tomorrow to never come, Let the darkness surrounds my life, Let the silent of the night covers my room, Let me dream of you, Let me live in a fantasy that you are still around, Live in a world that could never exist anymore, I want to see your open the door, Walk inside my room and knell down to kiss me, That is all that I want in my life. I know I cant hold onto the night forever, But just one silly moment with you in my dream, That will be all that make me happy, I want nothing else but to see you smile at me, Feel you holding me, Feel your arms around me, Even though I know when I wake up you'll be gone. |
