Lost Memories
When love comes into my hands, I always feel the Earth stopping just for me, Whenever love comes into my life, I could see the wind slowly lifting me up, Higher into the beautiful blue sky, But when the word goodbye comes, Everything just falls off like broken glass. The memories that are lost, When my lover says goodbye, The one word that I just, Can never hide away from. I want to love forever, But like the seasons, I can never hold on to love. The night comes to take my love away, The morning forever lives in memory, Who will laugh when I laugh, Who will comfort me when I feel down, Who will try to take away the heartache, When the rain comes and it reminds me, Of one lost love? The sun will rise on the other side of the ocean, While I’ll sit here thinking of what could be tomorrow, Trying very hard to fight the realization, The painful reality that my love no longer, Will come back to me. My love is just a memory, My life and love are just lost memories, Of yesterday rising sun. |
