| See You In My Dream What words that were for me, When you said you loved me, What words that were for me, When you called my name, With your soft voice, What words that were for me, When you laughed, When you smiled, And drifted my heart away, From the sadness of being alone. What words that were for me, When we stood under the stars, Watching the night went by, Under that beautiful moon, You held me close to you, And gave me a kiss, That I could never forget, What dreams we had together, When I felt you, So close to my heart, I thought forever, The moon would never, Fade away into the morning sky. The morning came out, The words that were for me, Melted away, Thought winter had not come, You walked away, Leaving me to myself, In those nights, With so many beautiful stars, But all I could do was cry, When I watched the moon, Fading away, Into the morning light, Because you were not with me, Like you used to be. Now the words remain, The moon is still here, I still stand and watch the stars, Glowing above my head, But I feel they are, Growing darker and darker, In each passing minute, Maybe because they know, You are no longer here with me. |
