See You When Summer Comes
We’re sitting here, In the time of love, We’re watching the azaleas, Blossoming into the beautiful, Spring afternoon, We’re smiling, As the sun shines down, On the warm spring day, But I wonder, How long this happy feelings, Will stay with us, I wonder, How long your love, Will stay with me. We’re standing here, In the middle of the road, Looking at each other, As the summer days, Pass us by, We’re sharing this kiss, This romantic feeling, Of our lips, Touching each other, But I wonder, When will winter comes, And crash our love apart, When will the cold, Winter wind come, And sweep your heart away? Even if one day, You were to tell me, You no longer love me, I would stay here, And wait for your love, To come back, Like those beautiful azaleas, I’ll stand here, And wait for you, I’ll see you, When summer comes around, I’ll wait for you, Nights and days, Just for you to come back, Just to see that wonderful smile, A smile that no one, Will ever have, Or I will ever see, In anyone again, But you. |
