Sing For The Lonely World
If I sing would the world sing with me? Sing the sad love songs, Sing the words that would break my heart, Drink, Would anyone drink with me? Drink to forget the lonely world, Sing to forget that life really exists, Let it be the lyrics to a sad love song, Hum the melodies slowly and gently, Like the tears falling down my face. How much can I forget with this wine? How many memories of you can I throw away? When the wine fades away, I’ll sit and listen to the say love songs, I’d think that they have been written for me, I’ll sing along in my own sedation, I’ll close my eyes and dream, A beautiful dream of you, Or would it be a nightmare? The kiss, The love, Oh how painful it will be to feel them again, To relive those sorrows and pains you have left on me, What will I sing? Maybe I’ll just sing for the lonely world full of sadness. |
