The Lying Laughter
I won't see you this September, But when we see next September, It'll be a long time from this September. Walking down that silent road without you, I can't see smile next to my face, I can't hear the laughter of yesterday dreams walking with me. The long day coming forever without you, Crying has stopped but you are still no where, Tears are all out, Nothing left with me, Nothing left for me to tell you. What more can I hope for, What more can I say in this lonely dream, What more can I say to bring summer back to me? The cold winter wind is waiting for me, Gently I walk alone hoping and dreaming of a better tomorrow, Dreaming of that day when you come back, I could even hear you laugh, Or maybe it is just the lying laughter, Trying to hide the desperate feeling of loneliness, Trying to hide the pain that maybe you will never come back. I can dream all my life about you, But your love will always be reality, The reality that you are forever gone, You are forever the cold winter wind never to warm my cold lonely hands, Never to warm my heart, Warm my fragile soul. I say goodbye to winter but it comes back to me, Forever it lingers around like the memories you have left behind. |
