| Winter Of Yesterday Sit and watch the leaves, Fade away, With the winter wind, Watching autumn die away, Like your love for me. Sit and watch the days, End sadly, With the cold wind, Of the last days of autumn, And think about you, As the days fly by, Without turning back. One day, The wind came, And brought you, Into my life, One day, Autumn came suddenly, With the beautiful leaves, Falling down beneath our feet, Then in a flick of an eye, Everything fell apart, And we are now, One heart from another, Never can go back, To that happy, Beautiful autumn days. I sat and watched the snow, Fall gently outside, As I thought about you, Thought about our love, During that one special, Winter day, The winter of yesterday, The happy falling snow, The warm hands, The warm bodies, They were so heart felt, So beautiful in my heart, But now they have, Vanished away like snow. The winter of yesterday, Body to body, Eyes to eyes, There was only you, In my heart, The winter of yesterday, The winter of love, That can never be, Brought back into my life, Because you are nowhere near. |
