Yesterday In Hands
Yesterday when we laughed, The world laughed with us, Yesterday when we cried, The world cried with us, The laughter came from our hearts, When we were so in love, The tears we cried when we looked at each other, Sharing all those sad memories together. You told me we would grow old with each other, You would never go without me, We would live with each other, Until our last breath, But now no one is here with me to watch, The falling rain. Was our love only for yesterday? Today the laughter is only with me, But I just don’t know if it is really my laughter, Or just a false laugh, To hide the terrible pain in my heart. The world laughs alone without me, I want to laugh, Then I want to cry, This is al because of you. I want to see you again to laugh with me, To cry with me, But where will I go now to find you? Where will I go to find those eyes, Those lips of yesterday? Where will I go to find that special laughter, The laughter that is deep within my broken heart? |
