Such As I Have Give I Unto Thee
A man who lives only for himself alone
Is a man without fulfillment, no matter where he roams
He searches in the temples with their stain glass view
He searches in the multitudes, in their speeches to.
He looks in each face for a friendly smile
He goes to every gathering, alone all the while
He sees no beauty, he has no peace at all
He sees a world in turmoil, death, decay and fall.
Until one day alone and sad.
He walks into the forest cursing the days he's had
There alone in silence, to his surprise!
Calmed by the Forrest spirits, his spirit begins to rise.
There he takes notice to the plants and animals
How each protect the other, not as human cannibals.
He looked in a hole in a big old tree.
There he found a nest, mother squirrel and babies three.
Up a litter higher he heard a peep
There mother bird had her nest, her young to keep
He walked on as in his breast his heart began to leap
Like a magnet pulling, upward, without effort did sweep.
He thought how a Creator much wiser than man
Made provision for each kingdom, right down to the land.
He saw a purpose in each living thing
With each revelation, His heart did sing!
He then got a message, that took out all strife
That brought joy and peace, and changed his life
There in the forest, among God's own creation
He was taught a lesson about human relation.
He saw how all life depended on each other,
For its survival, as keeper of its brother
From Spirit, mineral, plant, animal, to man.
Returning and restoring, resurrecting the land.
In Silence...I AM
