I met an angel whose beauty
Came from deep within
With her golden heart
She did impart
A friendship offering.

This angel was so lovely
Her heart was made of gold
For all she gave to me
So faithfully
Was beautiful to behold.

The angel became so dear to me
My best and closest friend
The friendship we shared
Could never compare ~
Its love will never end.

I came to treasure this angel
Sharing laughter and tears
Our many good times
Of rain and sunshine
Will last throughout the years.

My angel is a special friend
Whose place is in my heart
She's one of a kind
And there she'll shine
Whether we're near or far.

This angel encouraged me to shine
My beauty from within
And she gave to me
So tenderly
My own angel's wings.
