The epitome of beauty
the softness of her
face
Her smile so tender
and loving
has gone to another
place ~
Her breath in the
wind
like the touch of
her hand
Is now just a memory
one can't understand.
Tributes in flowers
but pain in the heart
Of those left behind
so torn apart ~
By the loss of an
angel
of beauty and love;
She's been given her
wings
to fly to heaven above.
Grieve for her memory
now that she's gone
Into the heavens
to a new life beyond
~
Her beauty and splendor
a memory to hold
When walking together
on the streets made
of gold.
A mantle of pictures
that behold her face
Smiling with a love
that can't be replaced
~
He grieves for his
memories
the love of his life,
She was his best friend,
and his loving wife.
Though she has gone
her beauty remains
In the breath of new
life
of a baby again ~
In this precious gift
she gave him a part
Of the beauty she'd
born
within her heart.
He can still see her
love
within the eyes
Of the daughter they
bore,
and her voice in its
cries ~
Her final gift to
him
as she closed her
eyes;
The arms of this angel
grew wings to fly.
Gone is the beauty
that gave breath to
the wind
In the arms of an
angel
she now rests in ~
But her memory lives
on
and the peace that
remains
Is the breath of that
angel
in a new life again.

"Another poem inspired
by a movie ~ the 1996 English movie "Jack and Sarah". This is a sad
tale of a man who loses his wife, whilst giving birth to their daughter.
And though he has lost his lover, his friend, his confidante, companion
and wife, he has gained a new life through her....and in their baby daughter,
he sees his wife. In her eyes, in her smile and in her beauty.
Though she would never replace his wife, she is but a precious gift, given
by an angel of beauty and of love. There's a saying that goes something
like "When one life ends, so another begins". And though her life
has come to an end, she now rests in the arms of an angel....for her work
is done."
