The most beautiful rose ever to bloom
now the loveliest star in the sky
Forever shining your love to the world
Who loved you, Princess Di.

You were the essence of true beauty
Compassion and of style
The selfless humanitarian
Who made life so worthwhile.

You displayed such sensitivity
Where others just felt shame
For sufferers of AIDS and HIV
And listening to their pain.

You called out to the people
You showed them how to care
For the homeless, and such causes
We became much more aware.

You spoke to the hearts of millions
You listened and you cared
Giving courage to so many lives
Whose pain in which you shared.

The desire to good for others
Came from deep within
You understood their anguish
And their suffering.

You had such a joy for life
You sparkled with such style
Now the empty days will sadly miss
The radiance of your smile.

Farewell, our lovely princess
Go to the heavens above
Share with them your beauty
And shines us with your love.

Farewell to you, Diana
Goodbye our English rose
Thank you for the joy you gave us
and the love that you bestowed.

Dedicated to the memory of Princess Diana,
who was tragically killed 31st August, 1997
