Its been ten years since you've gone
but I still miss you so
My love for you has not dwindled
and I cannot let you go.

Memories of you remain with me
close to my heart of hearts
The way you always held me close
the love you did impart.

I can still see in my mind
your mischievous happy smile
The way you always made me laugh
making life seem more worthwhile.

The way your eyes would twinkle
with mystery and delight
In telling me tall stories
before going to bed at night.

You always made me feel secure
and showed me that you cared
I never thought I'd lose you -
I always thought that you'd be there.

Oh gran, how can I forget you
I know I never will
And all through the passing years
I know I'll love you still.

But part of you remains with me
where ever I may go
Even though you belong to Heaven now
I still miss you so.
