Come into My presence rest in the stillness Immerse yourself completely in My peacefulness ~ Feel My love envelop your tired weary soul Refreshed by My Spirit where Living Waters flow. Dwell within the splendour renew your heart and mind Receive the promise of My love, you are a child of Mine ~ Trust in Me completely, don't worry about tomorrow Your life is safe within the hands where Living Waters flow. Your burdens are much lighter when you have none to bear For I will walk beside You because you need Me there ~ I will lead you safely where ever you may go, Refreshing your weary spirit where Living Waters flow. I will be your shelter from the storms of life And I will be the rainbow in your darkest night ~ Guiding and protecting through all of life's cross-roads, I'll help you find your way back to where Living Waters flow. Even when you don't see Me or feel My presence there And though you feel abandoned just remember that I care ~ For I gave to you a precious gift because I love you so, He's waiting in our special place where Living Waters flow. Come to Me, my child and I will give you rest, Just share with Me your troubles and I will make them less ~ Pouring My love upon you till it overflows I will refresh your spirit where Living Waters flow. For I AM the Living Water and My child, you are mine, I will cleanse your spirit and renew your heart and mind ~ I'll embrace you with the love that you have come to know, and I will always be here for you where Living Waters flow. So rest in the tranquility hear my still small voice Feel My love surround you with a heart full of rejoice ~ Trust in Me completely for all of your tomorrows; Your life is safe within My hands where Living Waters flow. © Christina 11th February, 2003   "This is another of my "refreshing waters" poems, that show the beauty and stillness in communion with God.   It is different from the "cry for help" poems from us in the sense that this is God crying out to us!   He sees us when we stumble, He sees us when we fall and make mistakes.   He has an enormous plan for our lives, but we only have to ask Him.   We only have to come to Him and share with Him our troubles, and He will give us the comfort we desire.   He will refresh us with His spirit, and He will help guide us back on our way.   So many times we try to take things into our hands.   So many times we think we know better for our lives, and so many times we stumble because we are trying to do it our own strength, rather than God's.   He knows what it best for us, and He will give it to us in His perfect time.   Instead of focusing on what we want NOW, we need to focus on what we have, what God has given us.   We need to be thankful for what we have, for small mercies.   Because if we can't thank Him for the small merices, then how can we thank Him for the bigger ones?   This poem shows us of a place where we can commune and be with God.   It shows us of a place were are renewed in our minds and hearts, where we feel His love for us.   It is the place where Living Waters flow.   We need to immerse ourselves within that water to receive the beautiful refreshing renewal we need to encounter life's experiences.   For without it, we can't do it.   The place where Living Waters flow is a place where we can let our troubles go, all our worries, burdens, stresses, sins, everything!   We just give it all to God and He takes care of the rest....after all, He has our lives safe within His hands."
