A mother is a special person
with tender loving hands
To soothe the storms of our lives;
she always understands.

A mother's love is a warm devotion
something that never ends
She's someone you can confide in;
on whom you can depend.

A mother has such wondrous patience
that we cannot explain
Her strength and courage through the years
of sacrifice and pain.

A mother has such thoughtfulness
she's patient and she's kind
She forgives us when we make mistakes
her love for us just shines.

A mother shows her wisdom
when we need to know she cares
She recognises all our needs;
a mother is always there.

A mother has such confidence
an everlasting faith
To guide us through our storms
into her embrace.

A mother draws on God's strength
and wisdom from above
So I can grow in her image
wrapped in my mother's love.
