No Greater Love

God so loved each one of us
that He gave His only Son
To give us life and give us love,
no matter what we've done;
And whosoever believes in Him
shall never perish or die
But will live forever with Jesus Christ,
and have Eternal Life.

He gave to us a precious gift
sent from Heaven above
So that we may know His Grace
and unconditional love ~
He sent His Son, born as a child
in a stable in Bethlehem
To give His life in place of ours,
no greater love has man.

His love for us is so immense
we cannot comprehend
All that He is, the great I Am,
on Him we can depend ~
A counsellor in troubled times
He always understands
Just give it all to Him in prayer
and leave it in His hands.

He is faithful, just and true
He's closer than a friend
No greater is His awesome love
and it will never end ~
As far as the east is to the west
so He forgives our sins
And so our hearts are refreshed
as we humbly come to Him.

Greater love has no man
than He who gives His life
So that we may live forever
in the arms of Jesus Christ ~
And through the blood of His Son
God's precious gift of love
Paid the price for our sins,
there is no greater love.
