Lord, my God, You are my strength
I learn to trust in You,
My shelter from the storms of life,
so faithful and so true.

You give me wisdom to know Your Word
to help me understand
To know the comfort of Your love,
to feel Your guiding hand.

You are someone I can talk to
on whom I can depend
To share my innermost feelings,
my faithful closest friend.

You bring me joy and happiness
the reassurance of Your love,
You fill me with the peace of God
as I rest upon Your love.

You give me more than I deserve
Your grace is sufficient for me
I'm Your child and You love me
for, Lord, You rescued me.
