I have a friend who is special
with a tender loving heart
Who gives so much, expects so little
more than words impart ~
She's thoughtful in the things she does
taking every care
To make a gift sealed with her love
and send it on to share ~
She brings me joy and makes me laugh
in the little things she says
This precious little gift of friendship
brings sunshine to my days ~
She's someone so very special
though I cannot see her face
And she wraps me in the comfort
of her warm embrace ~
My dear sweet friend, I see you
smiling as you read
together we bring a closeness
to a friendship that we need ~
