"This poem simply describes the beauty and the wonderment of God's creation. We see it everywhere we look! In the birds in the trees, in their beautiful song, in the butterflies that flit through the breeze, the bees that gather pollen from the flowers to make honey, the flowers abundant in numbers, the sweet perfumes and aromas of the stillness, tranquility and floral bouquets....to the cascading waterfall and rockpool glens. Where ever we look, we see God in His awesome creation! My husband and I went bushwalking on Saturday just gone (4th January, 2003), though not one of my choice hobbies, we did see some beautiful scenery and waterfalls. Of course I vowed never to do the walk again, as it tired me so much being a steep incline with many steps back up to the top, but it was indeed beautiful and will long be remembered for the spectacular views and scenery. It is here that we see and remember God and His awesome power ~ in His creation. This poem only touches slightly on the wonderment of His beauty we see every day. It speaks of only a part of the beauty, a part of the wonder and a part of the awesomeness! I could not capture the full beauty and awesomeness of God if I tried ~ only He, in His abundance, could give us that....and He has. Just look around us everywhere, and you will see it. God is everywhere. In the trees, in the birdsong, in the flowers, in the bees, in the butterfly, in the sweet perfumes of the air, in the cry of a new-born baby, in the stillness and tranquility, in the coolness of a cascading waterfall....He is in all creation and its beauty. I call this poem "Springtime" because that is when the essence of nature comes alive ~ in the springtime."
