Echoes of splendour
the shadows of dawn
Filled with such beauty
awakens the morn ~
To a sky filled with colour
in brilliant array,
Soft hues of light
begins a new day.

A chorus of nature
wakens the place
Refreshed with a beauty,
alive with the grace ~
Replenishing splendour
ascends with the sun
The birth of the day
the symphony's begun.

Rich in the wonder
I marvel beyond
The beauty and grandeur
which I look upon ~
Surrounded by nature
touched by the grace
The sweet breath of life
in the Master's embrace.

Enriching renewal
refreshing the land
The sun rising in splendour
by His guiding hand ~
The wonder of nature
and intricacy,
His breath of creation,
a sweet symphony.

Then sings my soul
in praise to His name,
For His awesome power
in a life He's ordained ~
The beauty of nature
for us to share
His glorious creation
is seen everywhere.

Birds of the air
life in the trees
Adorning with nature
His touch in the breeze ~
The radiant blessing
of His abundance
Renewed in the morning
as life starts to dance.

The symphony of nature
alive with His grace
Exuberant beauty
seen in this place ~
Echoes creation
of this great land
Filled with the promise
and touch of His hand.

Then sings my soul
my praises to Him,
With thanks in abundance
I give unto Him ~
All glory and honour
for all that I see,
His breath in creation,
a sweet symphony.

"This poem is a pure reflection of God's beauty and wonder at His glorious creation!  We see His magnificance in everything around us ~ the birds of the air, the fish of the sea, the animals and plants of the ground, and so forth.  God created it all....and that is awesome!  Sometimes it is difficult to get one's head around something of such magnitude ~ the brilliance and the magnificence; the beauty and the radiance; the splendour and the grandeur; the awesome touch of His hand on everything we see around us.  He created it all!  Like "Morning Dew" this poem is a reflection of God's wonderful creation ~ a tribute and praise to Him.  The title "Then Sings My Soul" is in praise to Him and His name, in gratitude and honour for His creation.  Us....and the glorious nature we see all around, such as in the radiant beauty of a sunrise.  When you see a sunrise, you know it is God's hand that is guiding that brilliance....you know it is God's touch that created such beauty....you know that it is His arms that is embracing us and the essence of His creation.  Then Sings My Soul to my Saviour God, who created such a wonder of beauty.  His creation, a sweet symphony."

This poem features in both "God's Awesome Beauty Poetry" and "Religious Poetry".
