There
Are No Words....
There are no words
to tell you
what can I really
say?
To help ease the grief
you feel
of this tragic loss
today.
There are no words
to measure
the depth of your
pain
And though you will
never forget her
her memory will remain.
There are no words
to take away
the heartache that
you bear
Just take comfort
in faith in God
and those around who
care.
There are no words
to express
my heart goes out
to you
For we share this
loss you feel
and our thought are
with you too.
There are no words
that describe
the pain that's in
your hearts
Just take comfort
in her memory
for she' still in
your hearts.
There are no words
I can find
what can I real say?
Nothing seems real
to you now
as it was just yesterday.
There are no answers
to explain
why a young life ends
I can only say take
comfort in God
and your memories
of Jen.

"When my parents called
with the tragic news that my brother's wife had been killed in a car accident,
I was shocked! As the news slowly sank in, my heart began to ache for those
left ~ those who loved her.....her parents, brothers, and close friends....I
wrote this poem for them all. How could I express to them their loss? What
words can you say? There are none. And although her and my brother were
separated, he was devastated also....This poem is for them all.
I have since used this
poem for many others who have lost a loved one, changing some of the words
to suit their own situation. For there are no words you can say to help
ease the pain one feels at the loss of someone close to them."
