Worthy
of Your Grace
You saw me in my darkest
days
Your tears were in
the rain
You held me when my
faith was lost
and You picked me
up again ~
You gave me strength
and courage
to be the best I could
be
And all the time that
I was lost
You were always there
for me.
You carried me when
I'd lost my strength
and gave me hope to
see
For Your Word is like
a beacon
that lights the Way
for me ~
You held me when the
storms of life
became too much to
bear
And restored the faith
that I had lost;
Lord, You are always
there.
You led me through
the darkest times
and You restored my
soul
You showed me that
You took my sins
Your blood has made
me whole ~
As a light in a world
of darkness
You showed me a better
way
To live my life for
You, Jesus
today and every day!
You instil in me a
sense of peace
immersed within Your
Word
Though Your voice
is still and quiet
to an open heart it's
heard ~
I hear You in the
little things
as You speak into
my soul
Wrapping me in Your
arms
of the love that's
made me whole.
You are my strength
and refuge
each day I wait on
You
I draw on Your knowledge
and wisdom
as You fill me with
Your Truth ~
And when I feel I
can't go on
You pour out Your
love on me
For Your grace has
saved this sinner
and your spirit's
set me free.
Though I know that
I'm not perfect
and I know I'll never
be
Jesus, You paid the
price for my sins
that day on Calvary
~
And all the time that
I was lost
I was too blind to
see
That I was worthy
of Your love
and Your grace was
good enough for me.

"I was only tapping
around on the computer this afternoon when these words just came flowing
out! God so often speaks to me through my poetry, and he uses my
poetry to speak to and reach out to others.
In our darkest times,
when there seems like there is no one who understands ~ God does.
He is always there. He is only waiting for us to call on Him.
God loves us all and we are ALL worthy of His love and Grace.
It took me a long time to learn, but I learnt that no matter what kind
of life I've led or what things I've done, God loves me regardless with
an unconditional love. And His grace IS sufficient for
me (2 Corinthians 12:9)!"
