Wake and see the beauty
before my very eyes
The sunlight fall from heaven
reflecting in the sky ~
See the greenest pastures
and flowers of the field
A horse that gallops through the meadow
a harmonic fragrant feel.
A flowing stream cascading to
a trickling waterfall
As ducks that swim amidst the current
the echoes of their call ~
Dogs that yap by and by
a rabbit in the grass
The beauty seen within this midst
I wonder, does it last?
The joy of life escaping
within the shadowed midst
Reflections of this brighter day
touched by morning's kiss ~
Rays of light that beam across
the meadows of the field
A breath of life is seen within
the essence it does yield.
Beauty wakens with the beam
and radiance of the sun
And echoes in the sunset when
at last the day is done ~
A breath of life within God's hand
touched by His own kiss,
His beauty cannot be denied;
there's no greater love than this!
Glory glory to the one
praise be to His name
Who created all the earth
and whose love for us remains ~
The essence of a greater good
drafted by His hand
The joy of life that's ours to know;
when will we understand?

"This poem is reflective of the beauty all around us. In the sun, the sky, the clouds, the air, the fragrance, the birds, the animals, the flowers, the trees....everything! It reflects on how it was all created for us to enjoy (not destroy), and God's love for us amidst. Life is a gift given to us ~ a joy made especially for us. Something beautiful and precious, that one day we may learn to understand the depth of God's love for us. Go out and embrace yourselves in the joy of life! For it was given to us in abundance that we might come to know the love and beauty in each living thing....the beauty and joy of life."
