~Mariah~
I blow across the seas to all lands beyond
Coming in Spring to add flowing beauty to fields of daffodils
Being in constant turmoil with umbrellas turning inside out
In summer I rest and lazily play with sailboats on easy waters
Fall is when I kick up my heels and make whirlwinds out of colorful
leaves
And whisk up skirts of passers-by
Winter bores me so
I throw raging tantrums, just for something to do
Not meaning to cause blizzards
It is just that I mean nothing to most people
I just want to be noticed
They may dislike my cold breath
But they pretend I am nothing but air . . .
I am more than that
I'm composed of the very essence they need to survive
Being the very graceful movement of nature
The very breath of life
