Sarah
By KatzFallenStar

Sighs emerged from sleeping children
every breath, a remainder of a thought of her.
One glance in her direction,
and my thoughts drift off down a thousand rivers.
I am reminded of us, lying on piles of cloudlike pillows,
my fingers dancing with hers,
her tongue touching mine,
our bodies melting together.
I remember wanting to be so close to her,
and wanting to feel her heart beat through my chest.
I remember holding her hand
in the secret,
and not wanting to let go when the show was over.
I remember watching her cry,
and wanting to whisk it all away,
in my warm embrace.
I remember not being able to,
and it hurting even more that I can't.
I remember seeing her destroy her self,
from the inside out.
I remember crying for her,
knowing that I will lose her,
all
too
soon.
