winded in my state of mind
breathless
still i adore this hard breathing
this- brethless beliving
the door step of love is in your eyes
and here i am knocking
gasping for air
needing your stare
a third knock comes and i wonder
if you are there
this breathless night has brought me home
for i am tired of these teases on the phone
are you there?
is the door to your stare lost or am i?
it is cold out here
wahtever breath i have is seen before me
smoking s if my exhale is on fire because
my voice holds hands with flames
my heated existence thinks its a game
here my heart is playing seven card stud with my life
and in the midst of my eyes blinks my heart speaks in rhyme
loveless my hearts skips
beating to the sound of the clocks ticks
as my breath shifts left to right
up and down
the change is slight
but as the hands of the clock
it so does come around
minuites into hours
i come bearing flowers
this love could be ours
yet your arms are not open
still i am hoping
that the hands of time
will stroke your hair
and allow this stare
to take you there
where i am standing
mouth closed
heart rambling
words of a comforting essence
holding hands gently with my presance
yet-your door is still closed
the wood of the frame smells of rose
here you are swearing love is a foe
as if a hoodlum in the night with his hat down low
aloow my knock to massage your eardrums
take you away from your hearts slums
have you any idea where i'm from
i exist in a place you have yet to see
a place where eyes do not tear
they bleed
a place where emotions come to feed
i am there
do you know this ocoen flow?
where the roots of love grow
from ocean bottoms
the salty waters
have turned to sugar
and here i am drowning in your sweet sugar ocean
needing this motion
but my knocks still go unansweard
and this ocean turns to lotion
saturaiting my mind
my love
my love
i miss you
so still i am knocking
and soon i
stop
as does my hearts rhyme
i walk away holding flowers
that smell of love
they could have been yours
but you wernt home
