I've Learned

Rainy days with the light of day
And the silence with the heart felt cries
Everything's wrong and everything's so right
And we're speaking aloud with our thoughts.

I've learned:
Only the heavens can hear me
And only the angels can see me
But as everything's in a timed motion
My world seems to stand so alone.

So as everything's broken into thousands of pieces
Yet solid as the meaning of true love                      
With the faith easing the soul
While the time is pressuring the mind.

 I've learned:
Only the heavens may hear you
And the angels only see you
But as everything's in a timed motion
The day will come for your world to move.

Together with peace and comfort
Dancing across the surface of the heart
For descriptive words are what is heard at night
With no voice to express the emotions.

I've learned:
Only the heavens can hear us
And only the angels can see us
But as everything's in a timed motion
We'll move together so soon.
